The associates degree in nursing can qualify graduates who pass state licensing exams for entry-level nursing positions paying as much as $65,000 per year, according to the site. The availability of online programs enables students who are employed or who have family responsibilities to study at times that fit their schedules.

Tuition, financial aid, payment program and scholarship information is also provided. The site also gives accreditation information on each school ranked. All of the schools listed allow necessary coursework to be completed online. Some offer financial aid and accelerated programs for nurses who are already licensed and working in the field. One of the programs ranked, Ashwood University, does not offer any coursework, but rather grants an associates degree in nursing based on prior learning and experience in areas such as first aid, health care and medical assistance.
